Velpar DF Dry Flowable Herbicide with both contact and residual control, DuPont Velpar DF herbicide provides control of smutgrass and other tough weeds, such as barnyardgrass, dogfennel and little barley, in bermudagrass and bahiagrass.
Velpar DF Dry Flowable Herbicide is a water-dispersible granule that is mixed in water and applied as a spray for weed control in certain crops, Christmas trees, forestry site preparation and release areas, and industrial areas. It may also be applied as a basal soil treatment for brush control in reforestation areas, rangeland, pastures and noncrop areas. Velpar DF is an effective general herbicide providing both contact and residual control of many annual and biennial weeds and woody plants. It is also effective for control of most perennial weeds.
Velpar DF Dry Flowable Herbicide can also be used to control key broadleaf and grassy weeds as well as brush and trees on non-crop and forestry sites.
We recommend the use of a spray adjuvant that helps break down waxy cuticle on leaf surfaces like Cide-Kick II with this product.
